  • Agro Chemicals Inc. located at 41 Warrens Industrial Park, St. Michael。
    1976: Wimcal Limited first opens its doors in a small bond at Oldbury Plantation in St. Philip. In our first year of business we sell just over $500,000 of Agro & Agro related products to local farmers with a few overseas orders.
    1979: We move to a larger building located at Uplands in St. John. That year business sales exceed $1,300,000 an increase of 135% over 1976. In that year also, Michael Mahon takes over as Managing Director from Richard Williams.

    1987: Wimcal continues to grow in small increments per year reaching a sales total of over $3,500,000. We are however finding it difficult to compete with our main competitor DaCostas Ltd. owned by Barbados Shipping & Trading Co. Ltd.
